Masked Beauty

Found throughout much of the US and Canada, depending on the migration season. A group of Cedar Waxwings is called an “ear-full”; logical since they travel in large noisy flocks, but your ears will need the high ranges to hear their “zeeet” whistled chorus! This rakish masked bird was photographed in Glacier National Park.
